EF College Study’s response to COVID-19 and looking to the future

As the impact of COVID-19 continues to be felt around the world, all our lives have been transformed in ways we never expected. This is a difficult situation for many, and our hearts go out to everyone affected by COVID-19. As always, the health and safety of our travelers and staff is our top priority, and EF College Study is committed to sharing some of the actions we’ve taken, as well as resources developed, to help our valued customers. We’re here to support you in any way we can, and even though travel feels uncertain right now, we look forward to the future and continuing to open the world through education and cultural exploration.

We’re so lucky to have a partner like you. And while we could truly spend hours (more like days) listing the reasons we want to say “thank you,” we know you don’t have time for that. So we’re keeping this short, and gathered a small group of EF staff members together to express the gratitude we all feel.

A note from our President

Dear friends and colleagues,

What an uneasy time. The world seems upside down. But please know EF is right here with you as fellow parents, teachers, learners and adventurers. Most importantly, we stand by your side as impassioned educators—listening, learning and adapting to the new realities of a post COVID-19 landscape.

We know you must have questions about the future of travel with EF College Study. We want to take a minute to share our response to impacted short-term study abroad programs, as well as our plans as we begin to look to the future.

We understand this is a difficult time for everyone, so we’ve also compiled some tips for online teaching, remote classroom globalization, and mental health. We hope you find these resources beneficial and welcome your thoughts on other content that may be helpful.

I look forward to the day I’m talking to you about the new and innovative ways we will get our learners back into the world to build the global competencies we know employers will demand. Until then, please know that we are thinking of you, are here for you, and appreciate your continued passion for showing students the world.
