Program description: Engage with leading European and International agencies, as well as non-governmental organizations in Brussels, The Hague and Amsterdam to learn more about the power of effective communication and influence across various sectors. Engage with a variety of field experts and educators in hands-on workshops and facilitated simulations while also immersing fully in this diverse region—a cross section of three distinct cultures.

Cultural highlight: Chocolate, waffles, beer, frites and comics?! Brussels hosts over 50 comic strip murals and facades. Brusseleers, proud of their artistic heritage, are happy to point out these hidden gems dotted across the historic city center.

  • Day 3: Brussels

    🔹 Cultural engagement: Visit European Parliament, an international and multilingual legislative body representing the European Union

    Visit the European Commission, the executive branch of the European Union, and participate in a workshop

  • Day 4: Brussels • The Hague

    🔹 Guided learning & skill development session: Build critical global competencies during a session led by experts in the field

    Travel to The Hague, known for being an epicenter of world governance and home to foreign embassies   

    Visit the Peace Palace, an icon of "Peace through Law" that embodies the dream of world peace

  • Day 5: The Hague

    Social innovation workshop: Take a solutions-oriented approach to humanitarian problems during a social innovation workshop

    Tour The Hague with an expert local guide

    Institution visit: Visit the International Criminal Court or the International Court of Justice

  • Day 6: The Hague • Amsterdam

    🔹 Cultural engagement: See Amsterdam like a local on a guided tour led by some of its denizens

    Visit the Anne Frank House and participate in a workshop, with themes that range from conflicting fundamental and human rights to discrimination and more

  • Day 7: Amsterdam

    Take a guided tour of Amsterdam

    With your expert local guide you will see:

    • Koninklijk Paleis (Royal Palace), once the home of the Dutch Royal Family
    • Westerkerk (West Church), where Rembrandt is buried
    • Dam Square, bustling central meeting point

    Visit the Rijksmuseum and admire works including Rembrandt’s The Night Watch
