    Meet your Field Director at the airport

    Take a walking tour of Dublin

    With your Field Director you will see:

    • Grafton Street, a brick-lined street known as the center of commerce
    • Temple Bar district, Dublin's iconic hip neighborhood

    Enjoy dinner in Dublin

  • Day 3: Dublin

    Take a guided tour of Dublin

    With your expert local guide you will see:

    • Dublin's five iconic Georgian squares, which span the north and south sides of Dublin and are surrounded by homes with colorful doors
    • O’Connell Street, a bustling street filled with monuments
    • St. Stephen’s Green, the largest of the five Georgian squares
    • Phoenix Park and the presidential residence

    See the Book of Kells at Trinity College, a manuscript created more than 1,000 years ago by Irish monks

    Visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral, whose presence honors the patron saint of Ireland 

    🔹 Independent exploration: Spend a half day exploring Dublin on your own

    Take a day trip to Navan, Ireland’s “Heritage Capital”

    🔹 Cultural engagement: Visit Causey Farm, where you will: 

    • Learn how to play the traditional Bodhrán drum
    • Take a CĂ©ilĂ­ dance lesson to learn this group dance
    • Bake soda bread, a simple and dense bread
  • Day 5: Dublin • Giant's Causeway

    Visit Giant's Causeway, ancient rock formations comprised of thousands of 55-million-year-old hexagonal basalt columns

    Cross between grassy islands on Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, suspended nearly 100 feet above the rocks below

    🔹 Cultural engagement: Experience the Gaelic Games

    Gaelic music, dance and language have defined what it means to be Irish for millennia—but did you know about the rich (and prehistoric) history of Gaelic games? Unique, rugged and fiercely engaging, the traditional sports of Gaelic football and hurling are yours to play for a half day in Dublin. After a quick lesson behind the history of the games, you and your students will be out on the field wielding hurleys, hitting sliotars and soloing footballs with friends in your travel group.

    Guinness Storehouse

    Located in the heart of the St. James’s Gate Brewery, the Guinness Storehouse explains the history of the famous beer. The story is told through various interactive experiences that fuse the company’s brewing heritage along with Ireland’s rich history. At the Perfect Pint bar, you’ll learn how to pour your own Guinness. Then, you’ll be able to enjoy your pint (as well as fantastic views) at the rooftop Gravity Bar.

    Travel via Clonmacnoise, a ruined monastery, to Galway, often called the cultural heart of Ireland

    Visit the Clonmacnoise site on the eastern bank of the River Shannon

  • Day 8: Galway • Cliffs of Moher

    🔹 Guided learning: Learn about the history, ecology, and cultural importance of the Cliffs of Moher at the Cliffs of Moher Interpretive Center 

    Visit the Cliffs of Moher, a set of breathtaking rock formations that run for 9 miles along the coast of Ireland
