Enjoy a night of jazz music, which began in Paris during the first World War and bloomed as Black soldiers from the United States fled segregation and settled in Paris. Notable figures in this movement include the 369th infantry regiment jazz band, whose album was the first jazz record to be released in Europe, and Sidney Bechet, Kenny Clarke, and Dexter Gordon, among many others.
