    With your Field Director you will see:

    • Government House, the executive office building
    • Helsinki University, the oldest university in Finland
    • Uspenski Cathedral, the largest orthodox church in Western Europe

    Enjoy dinner in Helsinki

  • Day 3: Helsinki

    Take a guided tour of Helsinki

    With your expert local guide you will see:

    • Parliament, one of Helsinki's most notable landmarks
    • Temppeliaukio Church, built directly out of a rock and often used as a concert venue

    🔹 Guided learning & industry experience: Participate in a Finnish education workshop and learn about the innovative education practices that have put the country’s education system on the map

  • Day 4: Helsinki

    🔹 Cultural engagement & industry experience: Visit a local school and examine the methods that lead to high results on PISA and other forms of student assessment

    Enjoy lunch at the school canteen and try traditional Finnish cuisine

    Visit a local library and check out one of the best reference centers and reserves of national collections in Helsinki

  • Day 5: Helsinki

    Take a short walk through the forest and cap off your afternoon with a lunch of traditional smoked salmon and sausage

    • See the Vasa Ship, a well-restored 17th-century eight-level war ship that sank before even leaving its harbor
    • See the City Hall, the venue for the Nobel Prize banquet held each year
