Your Field Director is with your group 24 hours a day, taking care of all the logistics on your program and becoming a partner on the road. That's why it’s customary to tip your Field Director $6-$8 per person per day while abroad, inclusive of the day you arrive at your first program destination and meet your Field Director, and ending the day you depart for home. Customary tips for bus drivers and local guides are included.

We recommend Program Leaders collect each traveler's tip money before the group departs about two months prior to departure.
